THE MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION
MET WITH THE SOMALILAND UK MISSION TEAM

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, The Honourable Dr Essa Kayd, met with the Somaliland UK Mission Team on Tuesday the 30th of November at the Mission Office. The Minister was accompanied by the Republic of Somaliland’s special envoy on Somaliland - Somalia talks, Dr Edna Aden Ismail.

The meeting focused on important issues such as raising the country profile to attract international investment, encouraging young Somalilander professionals in the UK to contribute to the strengthening the structural capacity of our insitiutions, and how best could community participation be utilized for our drive to International recognition.

The meeting was concluded on a positive note with contributions from both sides on how to move forward.
